Changing landscape of hiring skilled employees

By Jennifer Ferrero, communications consultant

Washington manufacturing companies – The landscape of hiring has dramatically changed. Imagine the increased productivity and management satisfaction in pre-qualifying and training employees to be ready to be on time and with professional attitudes. Even more, bringing in skilled labor that can clearly communicate and work with teams – a few of the valuable training items with Right Skills Now – could greatly increase production and the bottom line.

With programs like Right Skills Now, a part of National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Skills Certification System, employees can be pre-qualified before they ever step onto the manufacturing floor.

Today’s skills aren’t just about learning how to run a machine but include the following:

  • Interpersonal skills
  • Dependability
  • Communication
  • Reading
  • Teamwork

View all skills through the Right Skills Now, Rapid Ready Program.
